Adviesraad
Last week we had the second meeting of the Adviesraad. In this meeting we discussed the current version of the Strategic Research Agenda (SRA). The current version of this document you can find here. During the meeting this version has been accepted with some changes. The most important change being the addition of an extra research area that focuses on service management after implementation (Services Portfolio Management).
Another item on the agenda was the founding of working groups to further enhance the SRA and create more opportunities for knowledge sharing in the community of IIP-SaaS. The following working groups have been established (with the coordinator behind them):
- Business Services Innovation (Marc Lankhorst, marc.lankhorst@telin.nl)
- Services Software Engineering (Denis Hagememan, denis.hageman@gmail.com)
- Services Transition (Jack Verhoosel, jack.verhoosel@tno.nl)
- Service Portfolio Management (Hans Nieuwenhuis, hans.nieuwenhuis@getronics.com
Also a group has been established that will start to organize workshops around practical SaaS cases, based on current experience and practice of companies. The general format of these sessions will be the presentation of a case based in current practice, a discussion about the general problems and opportunities behind the example and the definition of potential research areas.
